Fridge magnets get an upgrade, run Vista

fridge_scribber.jpgMagnets are the new wave for surgery and shark deflection, but what's happening in the everyday world of refrigerator magnets? Well, you could light up your kitchen with Vegas-style refrigerator lights, or you could do something far more practical, like replace that magnetic to-do list with RicaVision's MK140 FM Fridge Magnet/Scribbler.

The MK140 is a fridge magnet with at 3.5-inch LCD that connects wirelessly to your computer via Windows SlideShow to display wireless sticky notes. Potentially useful situation: If you forgot your briefcase at home, instead of e-mailing you, your husband could just jot a note on the fridge and it would show up on your computer. Or, um, he could just e-mail you. The Scribbler is merely a concept at the moment, but by the time it goes into production, I'm sure RicaVision will have found some way to make it an indispensable addition to the American kitchen.

..."computer via Windows SlideShow to display"...
The technology is called rather SideShow. This mistake is made on many websites! For more information on Windows SideShow, visit http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/features/details/sideshow.mspx
