Cupboard that changes its design automagically

changingcupboard3smll.jpg

Having just gone through a kitchen remodel, I can say that one of the biggest challenges is picking a design that will last a while and not seem dated. A couple of designers from Front Design have answered the challenge with a cupboard that changes its design as often as you want it to. The group took a regular cupboard and added the same technology found on those rotating billboards you see dotting the highways. The result is the Changing Cupboard.

With three different designs, this is a piece of furniture that's sure to make your kitchen the envy of the neighborhood. I'm not too excited about the monotone color scheme and think being able to select from a variety of pixel designs would be better. I would go for a game theme, with each change revealing a different 8-bit game character from the '80s. That would rock, although I think my wife and the designers might have a different opinion. Now if everything in the house could change automatically, I'd never have to move again.

Take the jump to see this marvel in action.

i would rather have one that the shelves would automatically move to bring the dishes down so you could reach them or move up and down to accomodate the height or the dishes.
