It's tough to go anywhere inside these days where you aren't within the watchful gaze of a video camera, capturing your every move. And that's just the obvious ones — how can you know if your boss has put a concealed webcam at your desk, or your creepy landlord is peeping you through the vents? This pocket camera detector can at least give you heads-up for when you're being watched, alerting you to any wireless video cameras in the 50 MHz to 3-GHz range.
The flash-drive-size detector is said to have "advanced" circuitry for cutting down on background noise, which hopefully means it won't beep at every Bluetooth earpiece and cordless phone it's close to (there's plenty of stuff besides cameras operating at those frequencies). You can also adjust the sensitivity and range to focus your suspicions. Once you've got a lock on those cameras, the next step is neutralizing them.
