I think we can all agree that nothing, and I mean nothing, can trigger romance like a replica of an old-school Atari game controller. So leave it to the visionaries at British design firm Mixko to adapt Atari's classic joystick into a candle-holder. Just stick a candle where the actual joystick usually stands, and just like that, you've turned an otherwise romantic evening into an expression of your inner geekdom.

Of course, if you're in the market for this as-yet-unavailable item, then you've probably already taken your classic Atari games portable. But if you're also having real-life Atari Combat wars, then you may have a problem.

Word to the wise: If you find yourself one day sharing the glow of the Atari candle holder with that special someone, leave the other Atari crap in the closet. Unless of course you met that special someone during a late-night Everquest session, in which case the two of you will no doubt soon be needing this. — Tony Kontzer
