I get some wacky looks when I'm cruising on the 3G Stepper. A cross between a bike and an elliptical machine, the 3G Stepper is propelled forward when you push down on the (two) steps while standing. The 3G has no seat and that makes for a full-body workout. Supposedly, the standing position is considered better for your posture than sitting on a normal-seated bike.
Cruising speed is about 15 mph and riding it isn't as awkward as you'd think. Five models are available, ready to provide exercise and transportation for the whole family. Is this really cycling, though? Does it matter? At $649, you've got other things to worry about.

I'll wait for them to show up at WalMart at around $100 and then I'll buy one....like the mountain bike I bought from there last year. :o)

Yep, it's a bike.
Two wheels, one in front of the other, self ballancing.
Scooters fit that definition but get no respect.
I saw on of these at my local bike shop.
It has a tough, custom look, flat black, fat tires, like a rigid frame motorcycle.
We have to decide if we are willing to pay for what we want.
If you wan't a good bike you will not find it for $100 at WalMart.
