I don't get audiophiles. I mean, how empty does your life have to be for you to become obsessed with the tiniest differences in sound quality, to the point where you're willing to spend your kid's college fund on a pair of speakers or a turntable?
Like this TEAC VPI HR-X1 turntable. It's $19,000. Yes, $19,000 for something that plays an audio format that's been dead for over 20 years. Yeah, but vinyl sounds so warm! Give me a break. I don't care about the air suspension or 200rpm AC sunchronous motors, this thing is a rip off, and if you spend 20 grand on a turntable you're an idiot and should have someone managing your finances for you.
