USB chess makes chess-by-mail obsolete

usbchess.jpg

There are plenty of chess games on the computer that'll allow you to learn the game or play with your friends online, but none of them give you the satisfaction of having physical pieces in your hands. Sure, taking out someone's queen is always fun, but it's much more fun when you can knock that queen right off the board with a well place flick of your bishop.

Brando, kings of everything strange and with a USB cable, have combined online chess with a real chessboard to give you the best of both worlds. Its USB Chess Game will track your moves on the computer, allowing you to play against an automated opponent on a real board or play against a friend across the country using a real board. It's also flexible, allowing you to roll or fold it up when you aren't playing to save space. It's a pretty cool idea, especially if you can't find anyone nearby to play chess with.
