Two-way Radio Life Vest: Chatty when wet

radio_vest.jpg

The problem with waterskiing is that it's way too difficult to carry on a conversation while you're doing it, what with the water, the engine, and the distance from the boat. If you were wearing the Two-way Radio Life Vest, though, you'd be able to chat with your buddies in their Gibbs amphibious vehicle as the waves rush by, politely reminding them not to drink the last beer. The vest is comes with two 14-channel radios — one built into the neoprene vest and the other for your friends on the boat or the shore. The talk button's pretty large, so you won't need to take your eyes off what you're doing.

It actually looks pretty handy as long as you don't go too deep (it's waterproof up to 3 feet down), and the PVC foam interior is segmented to ensure you can still maneuver in the thing. Plus the vest isn't very thick, so you won't look too dorky wearing it. That's the important thing, right? Price is $130.
