Transformers mania is officially sweeping the globe, with normally non-transforming objects suddenly sprouting up with little robots hidden inside. A perfect example of the phenomenon are these Japanese headphones, which sort of transform into a robot while continuing to play music.

Man, you've got to feel bad for the Transformer stuck in a pair of headphones. While other models get to turn into sweet stuff like 18-wheelers, boom boxes, and guns, he's stuck hanging on someone's ear, flailing about wildly and trying to get off. Sorry dude, sucks to be you. Unfortunately for the Transformers fans here in the states, this guy is slated to hit Japanese shores only, arriving in July for about $35. — Adam Frucci
