What is it about wood that makes gadgets encased in it look so much classier? Is it because wood reminds us of things like armoires and humidors, or is it because we've grown so tired of the plastics that encase 99% of our new devices?

In any case, the fact of the matter is that wood makes gadgets classier, and that's something that designer Simon Enever knows well. His S-Series concept phone looks awesome wrapped in dark wood. As it's merely a concept there's no word on, you know, actual specs, but it looks to be a slider with a built-in camera. Whatever, who cares what the specs are?
