Saitek Obsidian mouse is sexy even though it has no moving parts

obsid3.jpg

We've shown you plenty of fancy mice before, but this Saitek Obsidian wireless mouse breaks new ground. It has that smooth allure of a device that's shed all its moving parts. Instead of a clickety-clackety or flimsy scroll wheel, it has a touch-sensitive area for four-way scrolling on either Macs or PCs.

Another innovation is its extra lithium-ion rechargeable battery, so once you've run one battery down, there's no need to park the Obsidian idly in its included recharging cradle; you can just pop the other battery in and keep right on going. This attractive 1,000-dpi mouse will first be available in Europe, and by the time it hits the United States it will cost $49.95.
