If you're from the school of thought that if you just dropped a sizable chunk of money on a TV, you want everyone to know about it, this Plasma Lift probably seems like a stupid idea to you. But if you're a more modest type, someone who likes having a big TV to watch movies on but doesn't care about impressing the neighbors, it might make a bit more sense.

What looks like a regular old table/hutch actually hides a flat screen TV and a lifting mechanism. With the push of a button on a remote control, it rises up out of the unit and is ready for viewing. When you're all done, simply hit the button and it'll hide itself again.
