

Apple's call to the world has inspired imitations from players both large and small — now some folks you've never heard of are getting into the game. Deeda, known for, uh, having a website I guess, has a cell phone called the Pi in the works, and by the look of the colorful menu icons and touchscreen interface, it's yet another iPhoney candidate.
Pi sounds impressive — onboard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Firefox browser, Google Maps, video playback, and a biggie hard disk (up to 60 GB) — if not transcendental, though we'd be less suspect if Deeda's home page didn't look like one of those placeholder search pages you see at inactive URLs. Expect to see the Pi hit stores a few days after never.
