Apple's call to the world has inspired imitations from players both large and small — now some folks you've never heard of are getting into the game. Deeda, known for, uh, having a website I guess, has a cell phone called the Pi in the works, and by the look of the colorful menu icons and touchscreen interface, it's yet another iPhoney candidate.

Pi sounds impressive — onboard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Firefox browser, Google Maps, video playback, and a biggie hard disk (up to 60 GB) — if not transcendental, though we'd be less suspect if Deeda's home page didn't look like one of those placeholder search pages you see at inactive URLs.
