FreeHand makes geek joggers of us all

freehand_sleeve.jpgGeek fashionistas take note — a new accessory you slip over your wrist promises to make a great partner to your pocket protector. Based upon experiences from one of their interns (sounds reliable), Venture Designworks has unveiled the FreeHand as a different way to carry your favorite portable gadget.

The FreeHand looks like a fingerless exercise glove and, simply put, is a pocket for the back of your hand. This neoprene carrying accessory has a stretch opening that can accommodate various devices such as iPods and Treos and also sports flexible mesh to keep your gadget in place as you jog. Different hand sizes are available for $22 each. We imagine, geek look aside, this will serve as a decent alternative to traditional iPod armbands for the athletically inclined.
