You can tell a lot about a person from their iPod dock. Circular and symmetrical: you like to be in control. Stone camouflage exterior: you're in touch with nature. And if you had the Dragon I, it might be a fair guess that you're a tad ostentatious. With four bright-red speaker pods on flexible tethers, the Dragon I (don't know if that's pronounced "i" or "one") is more modern sculpture than audio component. The color scheme is clearly meant to match the U2 iPod, an odd but refreshingly unexpected strategy (I am so sick of white or metallic docks).
Each speaker can pump out 5 watts, and with four of them it'll be fun to play with positioning to see how much you can get them to interfere with each other. Other MP3 players are welcome, too, through the minijack input. Just be sure they don't clash.
But "Dragon"? The multiple heads scream hydra to me. And unless you're really impressed by novelty, the $330 price tag yells, "Don't buy this."
