Time so short that you're actually angry at your clock? You'll probably be inspired by this calendar turned art-deco piece from designer Susanna Hertrich. The Chrono Shredder will let you exact a little revenge on time itself.
The Chrono Shredder, says Hertrich, is not designed to tell "the current moment" but rather "the nearest future" (next day). It operates on its own accord, with no human-controlled mechanism, to advance the days one at a time by slowly turning a roll of 365 days loaded into it. A paper shredder, part of the design, slow shreds one day at a time, with the tattered remains piled at the bottom to represent the passing of time. Take that, Tuesday! The only thing better would shooting your clock instead.
