

You'd think the genius robotics scientists of the world would focus on developing 'bots to do important tasks first, things such as performing surgery, fighting wars for us, or providing us with erotic services. But no, in Japan they've gone ahead and built Mospeng-kun, a robot designed to dispense… tissues? Really?
Look, it's not that tissues aren't a vitally important part of any civilized society, I just fail to see why we need big, clumsy robots to hand them out. It's called solving a problem that didn't exist. There are plenty of problems out there that could use robotic solutions, like the aforementioned surgeries, wars, and loneliness, but I guess we'll just need to take what we can get until those robots are created.
