If this keyboard looks pretty bulky to you, your eyes aren't deceiving you. It's huge. But there's a perfectly good explanation for that, and it isn't some half-baked design concept. No, this keyboard happens to hold within its guts an entire computer.
While it might seem like sticking an entire computer into a keyboard is some magical feat of engineering, when you actually think about it you realize that a laptop is basically a keyboard with a computer built into it and a screen attached. With that in mind, it seems like they could have made this even smaller than it is now, as it would be way too hefty for a normal laptop. You almost got me there guys, but I'm too clever to be taken by your little ruse.

I agree. I would have thought that this type of design would have slimmed down by now. Cybernet (http://www.cybernetman.com) has been selling Keyboard PCs for years and they currently have some usable designs. This latest offering seems to have taken a few steps back...

Interesting design but not sure if this company ever made it past the drawing board (maybe someone has more info on this - uses Windows CE, precursor to the OLPC Project)
