I don't know if I'm hot or cold; also, I can't dress myself

grobag_egg.jpgDo you ever wonder if it's warm or cold in whatever room you're in? No? Yeah, me either. The whole being able to register how I am feeling thing makes it pretty much a no-brainer. But hey, if you were somehow sadly born without the ability to distinguish whether you feel hot or cold, the Grobag Egg might just be for you.

The Grobag Egg is a thermometer that uses LEDs to glow blue, yellow, orange, or red depending on the temperature. If it's too chilly, it'll glow blue and you should go put a sweater on. If it's red, take that sweater off, idiot! It's hot in here! Now you'll never have the embarrassment of wearing a sweater in the middle of summer again, as the egg will always be there to tell you just how warm or cold it really is. Technology sure can be a lifesaver.

Interesting. I hate the name though. Reminds me of a "Max Headroom" episode that was never broadcast called "Baby Growbags".

Hey Adam,
Although it may seem like another usless idea to you, it can actually be helpful to alot of people. I used to work at a Mental Health Facility and many of the clients were not able to differentiate between hot or cold weather, due to their medications (and their illness), so they would wear a heavy coat on a hot day or shorts when it was snowing. I think this would be really helpful for people like them. for the rest of us....maybe not so much.
