No, this isn't a pod racer from that crappy Star Wars prequel. This crazy looking vehicle is a boat called the Front Runner, and it's looking to bring its 215 horsepower to a body of water near you. Featuring an all-aluminum body, the Front Runner is nice and light, giving it the ability to really fly across smooth water.

It uses "win forward-mounted jet-drive motors" to propel itself and is designed to skim on top of very shallow water, such as your bathtub. I'm not sure how practical this thing is, but you've gotta admit that it's perhaps the sweetest boat design we've seen in a long time — and we've seen a bunch of pretty cool boat designs lately. — Adam Frucci
