Yummy Kitchen Connect is a concept gadget that aims to make your cooking easier by providing you with a vague set of features. What is Yummy? Well, it's sort of like a computer, I guess. It goes on the wall and connects "to the cooking network and food blogosphere right from your kitchen." Oh, it can also "access media such as podcasts, video blogs, music, webtv, and Skype." So… like a computer?
Yummy also has a camera that can scan barcodes for adding to your shopping list, which is really the only feature that makes this look like anything other than a laptop stapled to the wall. It doesn't have any specs at all, as it's just a concept device, which makes it look even less realistic. Why would anyone need such a specific device when having a laptop in the kitchen could do basically everything this could do, and wouldn't be stuck on one subject? Looks like this device is a little half-baked. Hiyo!
