Turtle Beach Ear Force W3 wireless headphones cling to your head no matter what

w3big22.jpgTurtle Beach marketeers are aiming these Ear Force W3 wireless headphones at Nintendo Wii users, but we can spot a PR pitch when we see it. Truth is, this is one futuristic-looking headset, and its behind-the-head design is made for lots of moving around, which is what you end up doing with the Nintendo Wii. And, its plugs let you take audio out of the Wii while still connecting those audio outputs to your TV.

These wireless cans aren't quite as versatile as Bluetooth headphones, because you can only use these with the included AC-powered transmitter with its RCA inputs. That doesn't mean you can't rock them out with just about any audio source, given the proper adapters.

Actually, that lack of Bluetooth compatibility might be one reason this headset costs less than its Bluetooth counterparts: it's a comparatively cheap $59.95. Might be worth a listen, even if you aren't a Wii aficionado.
