We're racking our brains trying to imagine a legitimate scenario where this LukWerks Spy Camera hidden inside a clock might be used. Maybe you want to keep an eye on that questionable — or perhaps comely — babysitter you hired…? Anyway, this ordinary-looking device might be a perfect complement to that spy camera/recorder hidden in a tie we showed you last month, but this spycam/clock doesn't need to be self-contained because it sends its video to your PC over power lines. Then you can either watch or record that video on your PC using the included Werks software, or view it from anywhere in the world via the Interwebs.
The camera's VGA resolution is roughly equal to broadcast TV, sending a high-quality color picture out to your secret lair. Plus, it's not going to give you extraneous footage with its digital motion detection that starts recording when anything in the room moves. You can even monitor its output from a Windows Mobile cell phone. Just remember what that clock looks like in case you stumble upon it in a strange hotel room or bedroom of a friend.
