Record your favorite obnoxious noise or lovely poetry onto the Soundbomb, arm it, and then leave it lying in wait. Soon some hapless passer-by will trigger its motion detector, and will be taken aback by those rude sounds or iambic pentameter you chose. Funny for you, maybe not for anyone else.
Weird thing is, you have to fill out an application at the maker's website to receive one of these auto-noisemakers, which its creator says has its origin in street art. He suggests planting one near the entrance of a bad restaurant to warn other diners.
Team this up with that bomb-like WMD PC mod, and you'll scare up way too many citizens. Simply calling this thing a "soundbomb" is probably enough to make the Homeland Security authorities nervous. Unless you want to make national headlines, maybe it would be best to wait until public jitters subside a bit before you try this little piece of "performance art" in public.

"maybe it would be best to wait until public jitters subside a bit before you try this little piece of "performance art" in public."
I disagree. Someone should jump on the grenade for the Mooninites and unload a dumpster full of these little guys in "The Cradle of Liberty". They should be progamed to say "I am NOT a bomb". That should make for some good CNN.
But seriously, why would a person even build something like this? Sound bomb? I can dig some "Fight Club" esque mayhem but this is pushing the envelope. The department of homeland insecurity is trigger happy as it is, a Sound bomb should definitly show up on thier radar.
It looks cool though. I'll take two.
