If your cell phone is practically attached permanently to your ear, here's a holster that integrates with your car's seat belt, freeing both your hands for other things you might be doing on the road, such as driving. In addition to its cell-phone compartment on the bottom, it also has a top pouch in which you can store earphones, breath mints, makeup, or salt and pepper for that breakfast you eat every morning while driving down the freeway.
This thing could actually contribute to highway safety, keeping you from fumbling around in your pockets, under the seats, or in a purse for that cell phone that you just can't find. We're thinking your sunglasses might fit well in that cell phone compartment, too. Until using a cell phone in cars is completely outlawed in every state in the United States, it's a meager $10 investment to have that phone right where you need it when it rings.

So...You have to have the presence of mind to pull your phone out of your pocket and place it in the 'holster' every time you board your car? I am way too lazy for that, and I fail to see why that is better then a cup holder for cell phone storage. Looks like it would get annoying after the first ten minutes of driving and get thrown out the window, hopefully sans phone. I guess once it has been purchased the joke is on you. I'll pass.

i think that this a great idea... for me anyways... I like to ride with the windows down and sometimes have trouble hearing my cell phone ring when I store it in the cupholder. I don't think I'd miss another call with it be right next to my ear. Of course, it wouldn't be for everyone, but I believe it's something that would come in handy for me.
