Yesterday Kodak announced their new ink and all-in-one printers. Boring, right? Not so fast, coach. This is no ordinary ink.
When you think of ink, what do you think of? Me, I think of feeling like I'm getting raped at Best Buy when I buy it, not the fun of printing things. That's because ink is one of the most overpriced ripoffs in the history of accessory price gouging. Well, Kodak's new ink is entering the field at a price point that's half of the industry average. Even better? The ink is far superior to the stuff currently sitting on store shelves. Walk with me.
While most photo printers will poop out prints that'll last maybe 15 years before becoming totally worthless, Kodak's new ink will last for 100 years, way past the time that anyone would care about seeing pictures of you and your drunk friends. The ink will work with Kodak's two new all-in-one printers, due to be on sale next month, and presumably on more printers in the future. Yes, printers have actually seen something new and exciting happen for the first time since we gave up the dot matrix printer. I'm as surprised as you are.

One question...ok, its half the price...but is it also half the ink quantity?
yeah, ink is a huge rip-off. I've only ever owned HP printers...but by the time my current one kicks the bucket...I might go for a Kodak one.
