Helio launches mobile music service

heliotunes.png

Helio is joining the field of mobile music sales, launching their new music store that'll allow their customers to download music from any of the five major labels directly to their phone. A neat twist on the idea allows users to download directly to their computer as well, then freely transferring the song to their phone.

The cost for mobile downloads will be $1.99, will downloads to your computer running $0.99. At first the service will only work on the Helio Drift, and it isn't clear whether or not older Helio models will also work with the service. Even better would be if they came out with a new model, combining the great features of the Drift with some new, sweet music-based features. What do you think Helio? Wanna make that happen for us? Thanks.
