Dog nightlight won't bite you, its tail

Walteria Living won "Best New Collection" this week at the New York International Gift Fair, and after a quick look at the company's home decorations, it's easy to see why. This adorable Chihuahua (named Carlos) is a nightlight whose dog cone is reminiscent of an inverted lamp shade. It's made out of porcelain, which explains the $120 price tag but also guarantees a soft, evening glow. And it's certainly more pet-friendly than our other favorite canine accessory: these headless dog speakers.
After the jump, check out a light bulb by the same designer that glows without using electricity.

This light bulb might be called "60 Watt" by its creators, but it's actually a porcelain-cast votive candle holder.
