While we wait for that stylish bone-conducting Bluetooth headset from Europe to come out, other manufacturers like BlueAnt are picking up the slack. The Australian company's V12 headset has an impressive feature set, including ambient noise reduction, a vibrating mode for incoming calls, and a lanyard that doubles as USB cable. I'm not exactly sure why you'd need to use USB to connect anything to your earpiece — something whose whole claim to fame is being wireless — but there it is.
Two ear hooks, small and large, are included, and the V12 can pair with up to five devices at once. Also, the phone numbers from your last 10 calls are stored for you to check out on the 12-digit readout. Nothing to get too excited about here, but if you're looking for some competent wireless calling with an Aussie twist, the V12 costs $80.
