The great thing about concept phones, other than the fact that they're almost always much cooler looking than any phones currently on the market, is that they don't need to actually work. I mean, you can Photoshop anything you want, and as long as it looks neat then you have a successful concept. The hard part is getting it, you know, functioning as designed. But that's for the engineers to worry about, am I right?
This Asus concept phone is exactly what we like to see from a concept: slick and improbable. Oh, a 3.9-inch touchscreen? OK, sounds good. And a neat little control bar that slides up and down the face of the phone coupled with a slide-out keyboard? Neat idea. And of course there's no reason not to stick in USB 2.0, Bluetooth, a microSD slot, and HSDPA. Why not put in a 100-GB hard drive and a pheromone dispenser while you're at it?
