Take tiny photos with UTStarcom's tiny phone

UTStarcom_CDM8935.jpg

It's not quite a pebble or a PEBL, but at less than 4 cubic inches overall, UTStarcom's clamshell CDM8935 may be the smallest cameraphone extant. At 3.3 x 1.7 x 0.07 inches and weighing a slight 2.8 ounces with contoured edges, it feels like a flat egg in your hand. Not only is the phone small, so is the imager — it's only a VGA camera. If you want to upgrade to an inexpensive 1.3-MP camera phone, you'll have to step up to the marginally bigger CDM8960, which also is an EV-DO model. While no pricing or carrier was announced, both CDMA phones are Brew-enabled, which means they're likely to be available through Verizon if and when they ever get to retailers.
