


Okay, we all know about GPS, but here's a new twist: Internet GPS. That's right, all of Dash's GPSes are connected to the Net, so if a car with a Dash GPS 5 miles ahead of you slows down, you know there might be a traffic problem. A beautiful thing, no doubt, but keep in mind that Dash has to sell a lot of units for this to really be effective.
Another first is that it uses Yahoo Local, so Dash knows where you are and can tell you where the cheapest gas is, or all the movies that are playing in your neighborhood. All other GPS have concierge-type of info, but this stuff is really current. I'm not sure how this is going to play out but I like their thinking. The Dash GPS swarmers are available now.
