Printers are basically the last genre of gadgets to get treated to the aesthetic shrinking that everything from MP3 players to cell phones to speakers have gotten over the past few years. There's a pretty good reason for that: paper takes up space.
Brother didn't really solve that problem, but they have managed to design a printer that's a hell of a lot smaller than most printers currently out there. By using paper cartridges with smaller-sized paper, the Brother MPrint becomes truly portable. It also ditches all the cables that go along with standard printer, using a battery to get power and Bluetooth to connect to computers, PDAs, and phones. Sure, you won't be able to print off that Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan fiction you've been working on on regular sized pages, but you can do it right from the convention floor. Seems worth it to me.
