If your thumbs are just about worn out from trying to compose a lengthy text message to your sweetie using the multiple keystroke approach, the upcoming Vox smart phone from HTC could provide some welcome relief. Even though it might not be the first choice when composing a doctoral thesis or your latest novel, the Vox's tiny slide out QWERTY keyboard slashes the number of keystrokes needed, helping to reduce incidences of texting thumb.
Rumors are that the Vox uses the new "Crossbow" version of Windows Mobile, but otherwise the feature set is similar to HTC's existing Dash phone, with a 2 megapixel camera, 2.4 inch screen, and support for EDGE, WiFi and Bluetooth. This picture is only a mock up, so don't try to glean to much from it. We expect more details in Q1 of next year.
