This week in Krazy Kitchen Gadgets we have this orb island by Italian company Sheer. Floating in the middle of your kitchen, it adds a touch of class and spaceship-esque design to your home. The entire thing is hidden by the top of the orb until you're ready to use it; simply hit a button to raise the top up and expose the workspace. Featuring a built-in sink and cook top, it's got what you need to do your basic cooking. It also has slide-out tabletops, so you'll have room to sit and eat your culinary masterpieces.

I couldn't find any pricing info on the website, but then again I couldn't stand to be on the horrible full-screen flash site for more than a couple minutes, so feel free to poke around on your own. It's safe to say, however, that this thing isn't going to be anywhere near cheap. — Adam Frucci
