Cell phone with analog clock is not a good idea

toshiba drape

We keep moving forward with technology, but some people just can't let go of the past. Nostalgia is all well and good, but sometimes we need to leave our cutting-edge tech and our love of retro as far away from each other as possible.

Case in point: this silly phone from the far east that looks like your standard-issue tacky bronze clamshell until you open it. Then — whaa? An analog clock? But… why? The Toshiba Drape has other high-tech fixins, such as a 3-megapixel digital camera, but stuff like text messaging and mobile web functionality are lacking due to the, you know, missing screen. But hey, you can see what time it is! Oh, well I guess you can do that with every other phone ever made as well. Huh. Well, the chances of a phone like this, with its main feature being a lack of a feature, making it to the states are slim, so you probably won't get a chance to be perplexed by this thing in person.
