I told you so. Back when I was raggin' on the idea of people watching movies on their cell phones I said that YouTube's content was the perfect library for mobile viewing, and it looks like Verizon was listening.
Soon people will be able to access YouTube videos via Verizon's V Cast mobile content service. Awesome, right? Well, maybe. You won't be getting the same videos that you get online, instead being served up a carefully filtered selection of videos that Verizon deems worthy of phone viewing. Pretty lame, Verizon. It's like you guys are stuck in a rut of just always limiting customers choices, always making people jump through your hoops, and you can't break the habit. I, for one, think that's a pretty lousy way of doing business. But I suppose all the dollars you're raking in makes you not really care about giving your customers options. I say phooey to you, Verizon Wireless. Phooey indeed.
