Road trip! MSN has teamed up with KVH Industries to keep you connected on the road. As a photographer, my philosophy has always been: why work at the office or at home when you can work out of a beat-up station wagon? Tapping into Verizon's EV-DO network, TracNet effectively turns your vehicle into a hotspot, so all monitors built into your vehicle as well as any Wi-Fi devices in the vicinity will have Net access and TV on the go. You won't ever have to worry about missing the end of that eBay auction, neglecting important e-mails, or falling behind in Lost as long as you have signal from Verizon. The package — which includes the receiver, the wireless keyboard and remote, a booster, and an external antenna — will run you $2,000. Expect to pay $80 a month for Verizon's WirelessBroadband and an extra $10 a month for MSN TV. Yeah I know… maybe that's a bit too much money. For the time being, I'm going to stick to the old-fashioned way of rolling down the street very slowly looking for a good signal to rest my weary laptop for the night.
