Supernova Screen lets you use your projector when the sun shines

Projectors are a great way to have the biggest screen possible, which is perfect for those rich dudes who want to impress their friends by having a mini movie theater in their homes. But what about people who want to watch TV via a projector in a normal living room, with windows and all the rest of it? Well, generally that means you get a washed-out picture.

DNP is hoping to change that with its Supernova screen, which it claims will give you 10 times the contrast and double the brightness of your standard screen when used in broad daylight. Who knows if it actually works, and price and release info isn't available yet, but any chance of me getting to watch The View on my 100-inch screen in the middle of the day is good with me.
