If you've been waiting for a really, really good bargain before you finally upgrade to HDTV, you might want to set your alarm pretty early next Friday. Yeah, Black Friday, the day that causes retail employees to pee their sheets in quaking trepidation, is bringing some pretty insane deals this year, including a 42-inch plasma TV for under a grand. Not much under a grand, mind you — it's $999.99 — but that's still a pretty amazing price. It's got HDMI inputs and can handle both 720p and 1080i video. No 1080p, but what do you want here? Don't get greedy, cheapskate. If you want 1080p you can spend full price and shop on a normal day, alright? You'll need to truck yourself to your local Costco for the deal, and plan to arrive early and punch some faces to get one, cause these things will be going fast. — Adam Frucci
