Motion-sensing remote: mute Leno with a wave of your hand

hillcrest-loop.jpgThis thing might look like the illegitimate lovechild of a computer mouse and a bracelet, but it's actually a remote control. Not just any remote control, either — a motion-sensing remote control. Yep, you can now change the channel by simple waving your hand around, provided the waves correspond to the cursor on the screen and you've got the Hillcrest Loop in your hand. Waving your hand around without a motion-sensing remote control still won't work, unless you have a deaf servant or something. I'm going to go ahead and assume you don't have a deaf servant. Anyhow, the scroll wheel will let you channel surf and annoy your spouse like never before, and those little buttons are for volume. You can access other controls onscreen using the ring like a little Wiimote. No word on price or release date as of yet.
