Detectives across the land are joining hands and celebrating the arrival of the Aven's iLoupe, a portable digital microscope and camera in one. However, it's not just a bunch of investigators having all the fun this time — the iLoupe has a special place in fields as varied as printing, quality control, and auto mechanics. Speaking of mechanics, let's talk parts. The camera portion of this gadget is a fully operational 6-megapixel Canon Powershot SD600. Attach the iLoupe microscope module with LED lighting and one of three lenses (60X, 100X, or 150X), and you're ready to get crazy with magnification. The Aven website advertises two packages: the Starter Pack that comes with the weenie 60X lens, and the Pro Pack, which comes with the whole set. No prices as of yet.
