We got a kick out of this Binary Clock as soon as we saw it. And that's about all we got, since telling time with it is a bit of a challenge. Computer geeks will have no trouble, though, since those are the real binary codes for the numbers 1 to 12. The rest of us will just have to eyeball it, which at least makes it more useful than the Binary Wristwatch. Its features are pretty standard, clock-wise, with a 10-inch-diameter face and running on a single AA battery. For novelty's sake, the $40 price is a bargain — no lab at a computer-engineering school would be complete without one.
