While those customised rings that force people to listen to Jay-Z when they call your cell phone didn't catch on as much as service providers might have hoped, a new service called YouMail seems like it has the potential to become quite popular. What it does is allow you to tailor your voicemail message to whoever is calling you. Therefore when your parents or co-workers call it's all business, but when your friends call you can have that hilarious yet borderline tasteless message you always wanted. You can also check your voicemail via the web and forward messages through email, which certainly has the potential to embarrass many a drunk dialer. Currently the service works with Verizon, Cingular, and T-Mobile and is free, so get it while it's hot. — Adam Frucci
