Verizon G'zOne can handle more adventure
than you

ruggedphone.jpg

You know when you're hiking Mt. Everest and you drop your phone, how annoying that is? They always friggin' break after hitting some snow or being up too high or whatever. Then there's no way to get in touch with 1-888-SHERPAS to get someone to rescue you, and you die a cold and frosty death. It, like, really sucks. Well, you should have gotten a more rugged cell phone, bro — like the Verizon G'zOne Type-V, for example. Hitting stores tomorrow, the idiotically named phone is designed up to all sorts of military standards, making it able to handle temperatures up to 140 degrees, solar radiation, serious vibrations, getting dunked in water, or pretty much any other type of abuse that would fry a KRZR in two seconds. It also has GPS so you can figure out where the hell you wandered off to on your next safari and a 2-megapixel camera to take photos of you being very brave and adventurous. The Verizon G'zOne Type-V will be available direct from Verizon starting tomorrow for a hefty $300 with two-year soul-selling contract.

Sounds/looks good, too, but only for the elitest types who can afford $300! "Streaky" from Canada here needn't had said can't "make use of it" - why he/she made a comment like that if they can't use it anyway? Same for the "Public School" educator here. It would be a good thing for hikers, though, even hiking in non-rough terrain, or for the horseback rider, or skiers, so, anyone else, like you Public School Educators, or Canadians, who don't need it, don't need to comment either.
