Toshiba and Matsushita have developed the thinnest LCD yet, coming in at just under a millimeter thick. It doesn't get much smaller than that. The diminutive screen can be used in portable gadgets like cell phones where people just can't handle have anything big enough to feel in their pockets. I mean, this is just a screen, so it isn't like it is going to revolutionize how phones are made, as cameras and speakers and batteries still take up a significant about of room. Every little bit counts, I guess. You should start seeing phones with this tiny screen popping up in stores next April.
