Hard drive failed on you? Just BounceBack

cms_bounceback.jpgWhoever you are, whatever kind of computer you use, someday your hard drive is going to fail. Yep, all your photos, videos, music — all of it — will be toast in a blink of an eye. You already know this, surely, yet you don't back up. I understand… you're too busy to add one more annoying thing that you have to remember to do each day. Me too. What you and I need is a hard drive that automatically backs up for us. Enter CMS's BounceBack software, which will back up a complete bootable duplicate of your PC or Mac on a separate hard drive. It works fast by only backing up files you've changed or added, and you don't have to completely overwrite your drive when you want to recover just one file. We don't know why better methods of backing up stuff are all the rage lately, but we aren't complaining. BounceBack is available for the Mac or PC for $49, though it comes with any of CMS's ABS Plus drives; cost is about $189 for a 40-GB portable drive (shown). Bigger sizes are available if you're man enough.

I am interested in the ABS plus portable backup drive, I read the review in Smart computing.

What I didn't understand: is the bounce back recovery software included and already loaded on the drive or or is it an additional purchase?
