With one main camera, several remote cameras, and a bit of magic (read: Wi-Fi), last week Fujifilm made it possible to click the shutter on one camera and have all the other cameras tripped at the same time. Besides the obvious and wonderful applications for this technology in sports, I would love to see it used at speeches, rallies, and protests. I imagine an impassioned speech and several shots documenting the simultaneous reaction of a crowd. Another feature in the ether is slightly harder to describe: While holding camera A in your hand, you'll be able see the field of view from camera B over yonder. As soon as you see the shot you want, you can click the shutter on camera A, which triggers camera B. In seconds, the image from camera B transfers to camera A in your hand. Off the top of my head I can think of two uses for this feature: conventional spying and unconventional wildlife photography (simply cover camera B with peanut butter).
