Fanman + Rocketbike = Thrustpac

thrustpac.jpg

If making your bike rocket powered seems too dangerous to you but you still want to give yourself that extra boost, the Thrustpac could be just what you're looking for. Essentially a giant propeller you strap to your back when you ride, the Thrustpac can get you moving at 25 to 35 MPH. It runs on regular gas, and gets a very efficient 150 miles per gallon. In theory you don't need to be on a bike for this to work. A skateboard, roller skates, or anything with wheels should work just fine. I'd love to see someone on roller skates hooked up to this thing, but that's just me. There's no pricing available at the moment, but on the half-completed Pacific Wind website there's contact info, so feel free to get in touch and find out how much it'll cost to have a hilarious propeller-related death. Fun video of the Thrustpac in action after the jump.
