Vacuum magnate James Dyson has set his sights on revolutionizing the exciting world of bathroom hand driers, so get out of his way. The Dyson Airblade dries your freshly doused hands twice as fast as a traditional hand dryer using 83% less energy. It shoots room-temperature air at your hands at over 400 mph, getting your hands nice and dry in just 10 seconds. You'd better really hate drying your hands for 20 seconds if you want this, as it costs a hefty $1,028. Look to see it popping up at overpriced, pretentious bars and clubs in the near future.

I think it's kind of a joke that he is taking credit for "inventing" this kind of hand dryer. Mitsubishi has been making the Jet Towel for years. They're all over Japan. I found this link on the web:

First off I HATE air dryers, damn things are intrusively loud and never dry my damn hands. I used this thing at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and I'd swear off towels for the rest of my life if every bathroom had these. It was so quick and easy, even fun, to use!
